THE FEELING IS THE PRAYER SERIES

MY PRAYER FOR YOU. I had the idea for this series while I was wrapping up the pieces for my SUBTLE MATTER show. As I painted the last marks and made the final color choices, I kept hearing the phrase “my prayer for you” in my mind. I was thinking that if I could translate crystal properties into paintings via morse code and intention, I could pretty much say anything through the process. I thought about little messages or prayers I’d want to send out and how I once heard Gregg Braden say that “the feeling is the prayer.” I learned of that phrase years ago and it still resonates. I could tell there was magic to it. The magic of truth.

THE FEELING IS THE PRAYER. It’s the concept that you can say something all you want but when you FEEL it, when there’s FEELING at the root of those words, that’s the energy that is sent out to the universe. That’s the message that’s received. It’s the intention, the internal energetic action of emotion that move us, ever so subtly, in the direction of our hopes and desires.
