Tara Flores is an abstract painter exploring the nature of energy through experimentation at the intersection of art, science and spirituality. After graduating from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2007 with a BFA in Painting, Tara’s focus has been on creating large-scale abstract works with rich histories of complex and fragmented information with the intention of blending visual art with energetic healing. She has adapted these topics for private commissions and both gallery and museum shows. Her work has been included in several print publications and national exhibitions, including shows in New York, Los Angeles and Seattle. Her work has been recognized by the Marianne Oberg Foundation for Spiritual Art and is featured in the permanent collection of Seattle University’s Center for Science and Innovation. She lives with her family in the woods outside Seattle, WA.
