COMMISSION BOOKING SALE
I’ve got a stack of 24x24 canvases (which happen to be my favorite size for #thefeelingistheprayerseries pieces) AND since I LOVE the idea of giving The Feeling is the Prayer paintings as gifts AND since we’re headed towards gift-giving season, I’ve created a sale to help get them out into the world and gifted. And if you’re feeling that time crunch, just know that these do not have to be done by Christmas in order to be gifts. I can provide a gift certificate to let the special someone know that we’ve got something in the works that’s just for them.
THE ART
If you’re not familiar with the Feeling is the Prayer series, it’s a method I use to create a visual representation of a message/wish/prayer/love note/meditation/affirmation using intention, reiki, Morse code and of course, paint. It’s a beautiful process both for the giver who commissions it and for the person who receives it. When these messages are given in loving exchange from one person to another, the message is available to be experienced in an alternate way. Felt instead of read, enjoyed through visual beauty and subconscious messaging so as to be internalized on a whole other level, via different mechanisms, than say a written love letter. It’s like a little soul check-in therapy session mixed with some energy work. It really is rewarding and fulfilling to be the giver. (Gifting this to yourself is a beautiful option too, btw.)
THE SALE
The sale is a booking sale, which means you get a discount for scheduling your commission and getting it on the books. You pay $100 now towards a discounted total which is split between and paid on the start date and upon completion.
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS
24x24 paintings are usually $2000. For this Gifting/Commission Booking Sale they will be $1500 total. That’s $100 paid now to book your project, then $700 when we start the painting and the last $700 when it’s finished (approx. 4-6 weeks later). Shipping is an additional cost to be billed separately. The initial payment is made through my website. There’s a Commission Booking item in the shop. The subsequent payments will be invoiced via PayPal to your email. Venmo is also accepted.
